Teacher Gifts and Ideas!

Since starting Stampin Up! the majority of my customers have been teachers. So I decided to have a class where they can make things for thier classroom and/or thier students. These are the things that we made.

Teacher tile with a magnet on the back to hang papers on the magnetic white boards.
A small note pad to carry around to make quick little notes.

Back to school gift for the students for the first day. I saw this idea from one of the blogs that I follow and did my own measuring.
If you would like measurements and supplies and directions to any of these projects please email me at : karencoxstamps@gmail.com

Convention Wrap Up!

Convention Wrap Up!
Yesterday I attended convention wrap up with demonstrators from our area, Dallas, and several from Arkansas. The wrap up follows the yearly convention in Utah. At the yearly convention in Utah demonstrators spend their days pampered, awarded, and just generally spoiled. Also new techniques are learned and tons of ideas are shared. I did not go to Utah this year because I am fairly new to Stampin Up! and I was unsure what it was all about. But listening to the ladies enthusiasm and hearing all the fun they had. I made 3 very important decisions and/or goals I am going to share with you!
1. I am going to Utah next year!
2. I am going to earn the trip to Disney World!
3. You want to be one of my hostesses this year!
* You may be wondering why I said that YOU want to be a hostess, well I will give you a hint. I learned some awesome ideas for pampering and spoiling my hostesses at a special appreciation party. It will be held in July 2011 so there is time for everyone to get an invite to this special event.

Reagan's 6th Birthday

This is how it all began!
My daughter got started in Stampin Up! because she wanted to make unique and personal birthday invitations for her daughter. A friend introduced her to Stampin Up! and showed her how to get started. Since Reagan's second birthday we have gone through the new catalogs and picked out birthday themes that match stamps sets and the obsession has grown from there.

Workshop
I am doing a workshop this week and my hostess and great friend is an excellent cook. I love her super easy recipes. Personally, I think that Mexican is her best. I thought that it would be a great idea to allow guest to make a recipe card for one of the dishes that Shelia will have at her party.

For the guest that arrive early they will get to make this tag for the yummy treats that the hostess will have. I hope it will be a great workshop.

Duo snapshot!

My new favorite stamp!
I know that this is not a new stamp but it is new to me. I love how people can use stampin up products on more things than paper. I cant wait to show my customers how you can use fabric and the Big Shot together! Still playing....pictures to come.

Client Appreciation Day

Today was the day that I had my client appreciation open house. The gals made a 4th of July card and we made our wish list for the new catalog. Each lady received the water and a cupcake that I put together as a thank you. I even booked a workshop! For all of these projects I used the 4th of July stamp set found in the summer mini. Congratulations to Jodi Nipper who brought a finshed card she made at home using SU products. Her name was entered into a drawing and she was the lucky girl who went home with a free stamp set.

The finished card and the two prizes that the ladies took home!
Check back for recipes. If you have any questions you can email me karencoxstamps@gmail.com

We will be looking at the new catalog and sharing ideas, doing a 4th of July make and take and enjoying yummy cupcakes. I will post pictures after the party so be sure to check back!!
